People just don’t remember that their lives are now better than they were for long enough. Give them 6 to 12 months and they realise they are just the new underclass. It’s not, “I am so much better off than I was in Eritrea”, it’s, “I am dead bottom of the ladder where I am now”.
Dodgy food delivery jobs in order to live with 5 other men in a flat and no way out. No qualifications. Poor local language skills. Nothing like the future you thought you would have and fuck all to lose.
Then, worse still, you have a sizeable, angry portion of the native population, just waiting for a reason…
If we are going to be open to all like this, we need to build colleges. Some of these people come from failed states, they wont be hyper-literate in their native language, never mind English. Most wont have the first clue about how to actually establish a life in the UK.
What we are doing now, is basically just shovelling them in, stamping their asylum claims and seeing what the fuck they do.
Massive social unrest is coming. I am not calling for it. It’s just coming.

Is The Telegraph trying to make “accused” the same as “convicted”?

> Home Office staff can approve claims from asylum seekers charged with crimes, as long as the offence for which they are being prosecuted does not merit a prison sentence of 12 months or more.
What sex offences have a max sentence of less than 12 months?
Edit: Wait, maybe I misunderstood. Does it mean if the minimum sentence is 12 months or less, not the maximum sentence?

The UK cannot be seen as a soft touch country to come to….it is as simple as that I’m afraid.

This is such a tinderbox.
