We can’t get the new administrator in soon enough.
I probably just don’t know the details of how this works in government. But does NASA (specifically the acting administrator) have to comply to this letter and respond with the requested information? If so I’m wondering why this took so long.
Absolutely braindead, kneecapping a nation’s centers of science and the knock on effects from those are extremely difficult to recover from.
