  1. These are the kind of headlines that make us all dumber. We saw stronger/equally strong storms in May 24. We half jokingly use terms like cannibalizing when one CME catches up to another. That’s it – it’s not to denote anything about the strength of the storm (though I do get excited when they might catch up to one another which is what happened in May as well).

  3. Gotta say, I was really hoping for something else when I saw ‘cannibal storm.’ I was thinking *Sharknado Meets the Donner Party*.
