A modern Turkish text of the declaration:
"Following the declaration of war between the great powers, I called you to arms in order to be able to defend the law and existence (rights and existence) of our state and country, which were subjected to constant, sudden and unjust attacks, against opportunistic enemies. In this way, while we were living in an abject neutrality (armed neutrality), the Russian navy, which set out to put a torpedo in the Black Sea Strait, suddenly opened fire on a part of our navy that was busy with training. While the correction of this unjust violation, which is contrary to International Law, was being attempted by the Russian government (while waiting for Russia to correct it – apologize), both the said state and its allies, England and France, cut off their political relations with our state by recalling their ambassadors. Subsequently, the Russian military raped our eastern border. The French and British navies jointly fired cannons at the Dardanelles, and British ships fired at Aqaba. Due to such successive acts of treacherous hostility, we were forced to abandon the peace we had always desired and take up arms to defend our legitimate interests in alliance with the states of Germany and Austria-Hungary. For three centuries, the Russian state has inflicted a lot of damage on the property of our supreme state, and has always tried to destroy the works of stimulation and renewal (improvement and renewal) that would increase our national strength and power, through war and with thousands of tricks and tricks. The states of Russia, England and France have never refrained from expressing their opinions against our great caliphate, to which millions of Muslims have suffered under a tyrannical administration, and to whom they are religiously and wholeheartedly loyal, and they have caused and provoked every calamity and disaster that has been directed against us. This time, with the Great Jihad that we have resorted to, we will put an end to the ongoing attacks against our glory on the one hand, and our sultanate on the other, God willing, forever. The first blows that our navy dealt to the enemies in the Black Sea and my brave soldiers in the Black Sea and my brave soldiers in Çanakkale and Aqaba and on the Caucasus border, with the help and grace of the Creator and the help of the prophet’s spirit, strengthened our opinion that our crusade on the path of righteousness will develop with victory. (reproduced). The fact that our enemies’ countries and armies are being crushed under the mighty feet of our allies today confirms this opinion. My heroic soldiers: Do not abandon determination, perseverance and self-sacrifice on this holy war and jihad path that we have waged against the enemies who attack our holy religion and our beloved homeland. Defeat (attack) the enemy like lions. Because the life and survival of both our state and the three hundred million people of Islam whom I invited to the Great Jihad with my fatway depend on your victory. The prayers and wishes of three hundred million innocent and oppressed believers’ hearts, who turn towards the presence of the Lord with complete ecstasy and longing (with complete enthusiasm) in masjids, mosques and the Kaaba, are with you. My soldier sons: the duty that falls upon you today has never been assigned to any army in the world before. Show that the Ottoman armies, which once shook the world while performing this duty, are the good successors, so that the enemies of religion and the state will never again set foot on our sacred lands, the blessed land of the Hijaza, which contains the Kaaba of Allah and the illuminated tomb of the prophet. He should not dare to violate the peace (of the holy land of Hejaz). Demonstrate to the enemies in an effective way that there is an Ottoman army and navy that knows how to defend religion, homeland and military honor with its weapons and to humiliate death for the sake of the sultan. Since truth and justice belong to us, cruelty and injustice (hatred, evil) belong to our enemies, there is no doubt that God Almighty’s grace and the spiritual help of our beloved Prophet will help us to destroy our enemies. I am sure that we will emerge from this jihad as a glorious and strong state that has compensated for the damages of the past. Do not forget that we are brothers in arms with the bravest and most magnificent army in the world, with whom we act together in today’s war. May your martyrs bring good news of victory to the martyrs, may the war of your survivors be blessed and their swords be sharp. "

Metin güzelce türkçeye çevirilmiş de sonucu yazılmamış. Ben özet geçiyim Osmanlıyı hiç kimse sikine takmadı ve sessiz bir osuruk gibi dağıldı bu Okunan Savaş beyannemesi de savaşın gidişatına bir katkı sağlamadı
…sonuç: türklerden başka sikleyen olmadı.
işte bu yüzden hilafet bitmiştir. osmanlı ulus devletçiliğin gerekliliğinin tokadını yemiş, artık bir imparatorluk olmadığının farkına varmıştır.
Keşke bu savaşa girmeyecek gücümüz olsaydı. Tüm Orta Doğu cephesi çöktü. 30 Ekim 1918’te imzalanan Mondros ateşkesi ile Türkiye’nin sınırları belirsiz hâle geldi ve bunu kullanan İngilizler Lozan’da elimizi çok zora soktular. Bugün bile memleketimizin Güneydoğu ve Doğu sınırları Mondros ateşkesinin izlerini taşımakta.
Alman kayzeri de sanıyordu ki hilafet tamam çok matah bir şey değil ancak Hindistan falan isyan eder herhalde. Tersine Araplar bize dönüp isyan etti. Kayzer bunu bilseydi yanında Osmanlı’yı görmek ister miydi bilmem.
Hindistan’ın isyanı WWI’den sonra çıktı. Sebep de din değil ha, İngilizler verdikleri sözleri tutmadı diye.

cihad-ı ekber’i yanlışlıkla kendimize ilan ettik heralde.
Bu arada Karadenizin torpillenmek üzere olduğu avama söylenen bir yalan. Osmanlı bayrağı taşıyan Alman gemileri kasıtlı olarak Rus donanması ya da kıyılarına saldırmak üzere gönderildi. Ki bunun öncesinde de haftalar süren hazırlıklar var.
Hem gidip Alman gemileriyle Rus’ları bombalıyoruz, hem de “Ruslar bize ateş açtı ve özür bile dilemiyorlar” diye yakınıyoruz vay be.
