But you need a high cadence reusable capsule to bring down costs for LEO, or atleast another one to compliment Dragon, Isaacman knows this.

Orion would still be shit, no matter what it launches on. Like SLS (which we at least know can function, albeit at outrageous cost), Orion needs to be cancelled ASAP.
After over two decades in development, there are still a lot open questions and problems (heat shield, power systems, life support, hatch), making for a very risky Artemis II in a few months. Even if/when it proves itself, Orion will still severely limit Artemis post Artemis III. It’s tiny service module already strains the capabilities of the HLS by forcing the detour to NRHO. It can only carry four crew (for a max 3 weeks), cramming them into a habitable volume less than 1/60th that of the HLS Starship. It costs over a billion dollars per mission. It takes forever to repair malfunctioning or failed components (so long that NASA just flew Artemis I with a faulty redundant power and data unit, rather than repair/rpelace it). It has less sample return capacity than Apollo. …

I think this is the right time to do it, particularly in light of the successful launch of new Glenn yesterday. There are a lot more options available than when Orion was initially conceived.
