Today, right after letting my cat out, I noticed some crackers on his ladder. Then I noticed more on the ground. Naturally I thought the damn kids were eating stuff.
Turns out, there’s plenty more spreaded near the ladder, including entire mars bars (3 pieces) and one of my cat’s lost collars… And along the bush leading to the ladder, there’s this powery thing. It is definitely not salt.
Any idea what it is, and any tips how to proceed from here? 117 told me they wont send anyone so i just gathered some evidence. I went around the neighborhood — the ones with cats — and warned them about it.
The thing is, if this is poison, other animals will still get affected. Mice, batchers, birds. I cleaned as much as i could but it’s literally impossible to get it all.

Looks like breadcrumbs
Looks like grated Parmesan; definitely not a powder. Look up at the tree; could also be the result of some type of boring worm dropping wood shavings behind it.
Grated cheese?
No way to know without lab analysis
I’d be concerned about some sort of rat, slug or snail poison. If it gets on the cat’s feet, they’ll lick it off.
It could be some form of new chemical weapons design to harm small fluffy animals
Not sure tho could be cheese
The powdery substance could be powdery mildew, kind of looks like this and likes these plants.
Looks like rat poisn coated Pretzels. Unfortunately a common way cats are murdered. The police absolutely has to check this out!
The part above looks like a balcony. Could it be that someone above simply ‘swept’ their balcony?
Most poisons are bright red or bright blue, they are usually dyed like this so it’s obvious. What you have looks like an old bird feeder
Rat poison?
