I got back home and this is what I see on my intercom. When I press any button it makes loud beeping sounds and the lights don’t go off. I need help trying to fix it. I am not sure what exactly I am dealing with.

Another possibility:
Red means the intercom is muted (bell icon button). It still indicates with green LED that someone pressed the door bell, it could be stuck or in a state where its constantly ringing your apartment.
Check the buttons beside your apartment door and the one at the buildings entrance if any of them is physically stuck. If not, unfortunately there isnt much you can do besides keeping it muted and contact the landlord/Verwaltung.
I have the same system – is it still like this?
Because I have sometimes the bell off (red light on the left ON) but if someone rings its indicated by the right light turning green.
My mother never understood the intercom in their apartment so she would just push all the buttons until, by trial and error, she got the desired result 😂
If nothing else works, try to remove it and reinstall it. There is a little mechanism at the bottom. A little hole and if you press in there you unlock it.
By removing it from the wall it resets.
