How can they sue for defamation or libel if what was said was factually accurate?
The lawyer they’ve chosen to represent them is the SVP Valiser MP Jean-Luc Addor. Mr Addor got convicted of racial discrimination in April 2020 [for clamoring “We demand more” on Twitter after the 2014 mosque shooting in Saint Gallen](https://www.rts.ch/info/regions/valais/11286674-le-conseiller-national-jeanluc-addor-condamne-pour-discrimination-raciale.html)
While I totally agree with the crossword setter, I do think that he and the newspaper wanted to get into trouble. “Swiss political party – racist, xenophobic, homophobic, anti-feminist, anti-ecological, anti-poor, nationalist.” – that’s just a tiny little bit over the top, although being true 😂
That clue is way too good tho, if I was playing crosswords and wanted to get a minor clue that gives it away fully, I feel bad for the people just playing crossword that wanted a tiny clue and were slapped with the awnser
Ok, yeah, the clue is really something. Simply Swiss political party would have sufficed. But still, suing be ause of that?! Petty as fuck.
