I thought that it was just that the cheaper covers 24 H after the departure while the other is for the day. But I see it also has less zones, and it actually is missing zones. So if I buy that one, I could be fined?

The second one is meant to be used if you already have a valid ticket for 2 zones, for example for Zurich city.

  2. Just a quick guide

The ones were you see all the zones is zone ticket valid for your route. The other one is if you already have a different zvv ticket, so you can extend your original ticket with additional zones you’re missing.

If you buy the cheaper one you’ll get fined since it’s not a valid ticket.

  3. Anschluss Tickets are for when you already have another ticket covering part of the zones. Eg if you have the monthly ticket covering zone 110 for Zurich city and you want to travel that journey, you only need to cover 121 and 150 using the Anschluss-Ticket.

The Anschlussticket would be a ticket if you already had a valid ticket (usually a monthly or yearly ticket) for part of the journey.

I thought those tickets we just the option for traveling to Austria. I’ll see myself out, thanks.

  6. When in doubt and when having all the tickets in the app, use the EasyRide feature and let the app calculate the correct (i.e. cheapest but still valid) ticket to buy.
