Town finally declares Boxing Day hunt ‘not welcome’

Imaging banning your own traditions and culture to appease media personalities. Cultural cuckoldry.

Well firstly we’re talking about trail hunting which involves zero actual hunting. It’s irrelevant that illegal fox hunts still happen. That’s not a legal justification to ban the tradition itself which is devoid of any hunting.

Secondly, this is a dishonest argument. Factory farming, Halal slaughter, and Kosher slaughter are just as “cruel” yet much, much more widespread than a tiny number of foxes from traditional hunts. Why is it these topics don’t get the same seething resentment from Left wing Redditors than Fox Hunting does? The ban is obviously motivated by class and cultural hatred against rural conservative British people. The Labour ministers who implemented the ban admitted this. Redditors can’t even hide this an instantly resort to talking about how much they hate “Toffs” rather than objectively talking about animal conservation.

Fox Hunting is a lot more justifiable than Halal of Kosher slaughter: it’s supposed to replicate the way foxes would naturally die in the wilderness (killed by wolves etc), maintaing healthy populations of foxes which are strong. Fox hunting is precisely a natural form of hunting akin to rewilding. When we reintroduce wild cats into the UK what exactly do people think they’ll do? Hunt animals in exactly the same way

Can we stop with the tracking pay walls? Sites like this need to be a banned source.
