Two fact corrections needed for several short paragraphs of text. Not great reporting!
I wasn’t surprised when space dot com reported these as being 13 billion light years away, but to see scientific American reporting the same BS is pretty disheartening.
These are 28 billion light years away. Yes, that corresponds to a 13 billion year travel time. No, that does not in anyway correspond to a distance of 13 billion light years.
