"Protest before NSI. The employees want a 20% wage increase.
They claim that the net salary of a junior expert with a secondary education is about BGN 840, and of an employee with a higher economic degree – about BGN 1,600.
The organizer of the protest is the trade union of the administrative employees of the CT "Support".
In addition to the NSI, the employees of the NSI and the Employment Agency will also protest."
NSI employees want a 20% salary increase. At the same time, they report 5.4% annual inflation for October.
"According to the European Commission’s 2025 Spring Economic Forecast, HICP inflation is expected to rise to 3.6% in 2025 before falling to 1.8% in 2026."
And according to the economic forecast, inflation is expected to fall to 1.8% in 2026.
Now, right, 3.6%, then 5.4% and finally a 20% increase. Index their salaries to the observed inflation and they will be duly rewarded.
Or maybe real inflation is closer to 20% and they know how much of a raise they should want.

Няма проблем, на всички в държавните и общински институции и предприятия да им увеличат заплатите с по 20%< стига да намалят щата с поне 30% 🙂
Ако наистина са им толкова ниски защо да не ги дигнат? Това, че на едни в държавната администрация се плаща скандално много, не значи, че на други не им се плаща мизерно.
To be fair, ако не бяха служителните от НСИ, инфлацията можеше да е и двойно по-голяма, 😂
На НСИ, статистиката не им върви…
