The images of this are truly horrific. “Massive” is an understatement.

Sentence him to a life time of litter picking, the dirty ****!

Good. Hopefully they will get everyone else involved in doing this.
Now give him a shovel and a wheelbarrow and tell him to start clearing it. When his mates are caught they will be along to help him until its done.

I’m actually curious of the logistics of this given the scale of the dump. How many trips there did he make?

This looks like mostly plastic.
Plastic waste actually has value – people will buy this stuff for power station fuel and for melting down into things like imitation decking planks which can use post-consumer plastics, even unsorted.

Maybe its land owner been arrested, will probably deny any knowledge of it, looking at the state of the waste and the sheer size of it looks like its been processed and shredded so it’s definitely not just the usual fly tippers in a flatbed

Now trace it back to whoever paid him to dump it and make them pay for the cleanup.

If found guilty, he should be made to clean it up by hand. Even if it takes the rest of his life!

The company dumping it should be made to move it under supervision (!) at their own expense.

The thing is its so easy for the police to figure out who did it…
Just search through the trash and find some addresses and ask them who collected their waste.
The scale needed to do this is so impressive the costs are so high surely it wouldn’t have costed thaaat much more (on top of all the heavy machinery obviously needed to dump this crap ) to just dispose of it properly lol.
Like surely it would be cheaper to have a group of 20 people just dumping bin bags in public trash or council estate bins over a period of a few months…..

>”We would ask that the public and media do not speculate about the identity of any other individuals who may be connected with the offending at this location, or interfere with the waste on site as we continue to treat it as an active crime scene.
At this point they just say this shit to antagonise people and make them react to that line😂

It’s a lot of rubbish but how is it going to cost tens of millions to clean up? Are they having a laugh?
