  1. Assuming there are no obvious leaks and this is unusally high for you:

    1. check your flushing

    2. check your water tank isn’t leaking into some dran you’re not seeing

    3. If you’re in a block of apartments, naturally make sure there isn’t a leak in the shaft.

    It’s not a crazy high bill so if it’s a leak it might just be a small trickle, but obviously one that’s gone on for a month can add up. My first stop would definitely be the fluching, it’s the easiest thing not to notice.

    Consumption was always 20€ until we got a reverse osmosis and it changed to 35€

    This for every 2 months with 3 ppl living

  3. Check previous bills, you may have been on estimates and now it’s a real reading so it got true’d up. If you just started renting, you may be paying what the previous renter didn’t pay.

    Possibly a leak. As advised check your toilet cistern, water reservoir etc. I’d also record the readings over a period of. A few days just to see if there is truly excessive water consumption or maybe a mistake in the readings
