Swedish Saab Kockums won contract for AB 3 A26 Blekinge class submarines this will be the main part of much larger agreement between Sweden and Poland in wich Sweden will invest in polish shipyards to develop capabilities to service and repair these submarines, also one A19 Gotland class submarine will be delivered to poland in 2027 as a gapfiller while Polish navy is waiting for deliver of the first ship, Agreement between Poland and Sweden is expected to be signed befour end of the year

    1. Yeah. Unfortunately worst sub was chosen. No VLS, meaning no deterrent and ballistic strikes far inland. Worst batteries. Already 10 year delays. I’m very disappointed. Korean or French option should have been chosen.

    2. Why? The Baltic Sea is a bad place for submarines. Didn’t we learn that from WW2? It’s too shallow for them to be of any good use.

      We have access to sea on which russians also can swim which also makes me wonder of our lack of naval force

      Tho choice of this sub is questionable, most likely there are better choices
