I think there needs to be serious, serious jail time at the very least.
There was a very good book in my local library about how the British elite at all levels closes ranks to protect itself. It was written long before the PO scandal broke through. The British establishment is rotten through-and-through. We only think the UK isn’t corrupt because we don’t get shaken down for bribes by coppers, but by God it’s corrupt at the top.
What about the politicians that helped cover it up?
The BBC article does not say why there would be corporate manslaughter charges? What am I missing here?
Every single senior post office, Fujitsu and government official who knew the truth and did their utmost to cover it up by destroying lives and livelihoods need to be dragged into court, convicted and jailed.
Then we need a further enquiry into ‘Capture’ the precursor to ‘Horizon’ which was just as flawed and destroyed as many people as well.
Anything less is an affront to justice.
The fact that Fujitsu is still getting contracts with the goverment is fucked up. We should ban all the contractors involved at the bare minimum. Never-ending corporate manslaughter, we need a new charge for the level of conspiracy and lies these powerful entities pulled on innocent people.

Total red herring. This would cause delays and not deliver justice. Pierce the corporate veil and punish the individuals.
