  1. I dunno why people continually use these rip-off services! All people ever do is complain, then go back to using it a day later.

  2. Terrible service aside, if you’re in a car already, why would you pay for delivery rather than hit up the drive through?

  3. “Delivery is so expensive, it gets there cold, if at all!”

Actual quote from a coworker while i watched them proceed to order Domino’s to their home to arrive just after they do.

When did “news” become “write up a random persons social media video and quote a couple of the comments”?

  5. It actually blows my damn mind that someone would be in their car. Pay £16 to get crap food delivered before going to bed. On a week day. wtf is going on. Everything here is so alien to me.

  6. Though this sucks and would constitute a crime, why is this news? Some scumbag stole the food he was supposed to deliver? Okay… complain to Uber Eats, or if you want to be dramatic, call the Police.

  7. Wait – obviously not okay to steal – but she in *in the car already*. Just drive to McDonalds*?

    *caveat: projection, cannot drive

  8. youve just had a rough day commuting through london and think that you dont want to cook when you get home. the kids will be home in an hour whichll give you a few moments peace just as you get in so you decide to order some maccy ds as you had an offer come up on your phone. you track in on your phone as you near your house and see then delivery driver has stopped. you get off the bus to intercept the driver as hes only a few streets away from yours , only to find him eating your food.

    What do you do?

Serves her right. It´s not called Uber Eats for no reason. If she wanted MaccyD´s for herself, she should´ve ordered You Eat instead.

  10. What was the order? It’s relevant because back in the 80s it was estimated that a small percentage of McDonald’s chicken had salmonella or something, so if you bought a box of 12 chicken nuggets and threw two away, you’d be safe, obviously you had to hope you’d chosen the correct two, but that’s a luck thing, maybe the guy was doing her a favour and eaten those two.

  11. How many more times do we need to hear this? This happens all the time. Stop using these apps. They ripoff the customers, the drivers, and the restaurants.

  12. A lot of this sub hates food delivery services and wants them banned.

This must happen all the time. I assume she’ll get a refund and some voucher codes.
