    The Bill regarding the broadcast of the IMM case on TRT was recently rejected by AKP and MHP votes. Despite Bahçeli’s support, MHP’s rejection vote was met with public reaction.

    Speaking to journalist Çağlar Tekin, MHP members explained why they said “no”.

    Tekin told two MHP sources on social media that Bahçeli "İmamoğlu case should be broadcast on TRT" He asked why they did not comply with his statement in the Parliament. Both sources said that Bahçeli was told that the evidence would become clear with the publication of the indictment and that the publication of the hearings would weaken the CHP, but the indictment turned out to be weak. Tekin also said, “When I told them that I thought İmamoğlu would not be allowed to leave until the new regime was established, they refrained from talking.”

    Stating that he met with another lawyer from MHP, Tekin said, “He was angrier. He said, ‘AKP said there are dozens of evidence for us, CHP will remain silent when the indictment comes out, but they produced an empty text as an indictment, how can we ask for it to be published?'” he said.

      Genel olarak aciklama bana garip geldi. MHPnin bu Imamoglu sürecine inanmasi mümkün degil. Ülkecek AKPnin ve Erdoganin ne oldugunu biliyoruz. Yani AKP bize delil var dedi bizde inandik söylemi bana garip geliyor. Gercekten öyle olduysa durum daha vahim.
