Another story about Farage that the BBC won’t mention because it isn’t about building momentum for him being PM.

  2. Yes… of course… for 12 hours work. That’s what it’s for. No other reason………

On the offchance he’s PM in a few years – which is a possibility – this is a bargain of an investment for future favourable treatment.

  3. And the constituents of CLACTON must be even more proud how their MP is getting better paid !!!

  4. Let’s also be honest, I don’t think one of us would turn down that offer; after all, after your paid you can always ignore them (there goes my chance of £135k)

  5. > Farage, who acts as the companies “Brand Ambassador” is pocketing an eye-watering £11,250 per hour to push “tax-free gold”.

Paid stupid amounts promoting tax avoidance, future PM material right here.

    Yet another job for Nigel.

Paid a full time wage by the state, mind. Not that he ever seems to do it.

If it was a senior civil servant moonlighting like this while raking in £90k a year from the taxpayer I’m sure Nigel would have plenty of criticism.

Very unusual that the CEO of this company used to work in intelligence in the Navy (useful), lost a lot of money on the stock market (vulnerable) and apparently advertised the company on Russian TV in the past.

It’s corrupt, it’s scummy….but they all do it. He’s only marginally more corrupt than the rest

Remember that he is for the working man! He will remove your benefits and lower your minimum wage while he “earns” this huge amount of money.

But as long as you don’t have to see any brown people during your day its a worthy trade.

  10. MPs should not be able to take 2nd jobs or similar for anything they would not have got as a non MP.

This would mean lawyers, doctors etc can still keep their toe in to keep current (1 of the arguments for 2nd MP jobs) but grifting like this would be banned

Of course this won’t happen as the MPs vote for their own regulations

The Cherry on the top for me is that Direct Bullion aren’t even good. I certainly wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

If you’re buying gold Britainias for instance you’d save £100 an oz going to a more reputable dealer like Chards.

Just shows how little Farage actually cares about the people who are gullable enough to trust him.

  12. Grifters gonna grift. Just so long as he doesn’t have to have actual responsibility or accountability.

Until MP’s are not allowed second jobs this form of corruption will be widespread.

  14. Investing in Gold is a bet against the human race.

Choosing to buy a shiny rock instead of risking your cash in human ingenuity effort or desire is a bet against humanity. Guess who the purveyors of said rock chose to bribe….
