and it also effected that slovene people see military spending as not important, especially compared to croatia, that suffered a lot more in yugoslav war, but has an actual military

Yes, Janez Janša the right wing politician is still saying today, that he was one of the reasons Slovenia became independent, and some people believe him. Meanwhile he is saying that the ”left’ was opposing the independence.
Yes, economically it had major rammifications as it disrupted trade and economic ties with other Yugoslav republics as well as the loss of the common Yugoslav market. There were also refugees from Croatia/Bosnia arriving to the country. It took a few years for everything to stabilize.

Well to be honest, we were pretty lucky regarding the war, in comparison to other countries.

Yeah, war gave them an opportunity to steal like 2 billion € from Ljubljanska banka saving accounts of other ex yugoslavs (mostly croats). Great success!
