Whilst they can be incredibly effective at reducing weight whilst you are on them it is not clear whether you can really stop taking them and not regain the weight. People who stress eat, for example, can’t whilst taking the drug as they feel sick but unless you find a way of stopping someone from wanting to stress eat in the first place that habit will return to being possible once you stop the drug. It’s quite clear to many on them that the only way this works is long term, not limited to two years.
