Boomers gonna boom! Seriously though that’s a damning indictment of new music or even the traditional seasonal power of a compilation album.
No idea why I’m getting downvoted on this observation.
I’m 60 which means one year outside the “boomer’ cohort! I’ve got a stack of albums by the Floyd. Heck was listening to More only last week.
Is there a specific cause of which I am unaware, or is it simply a sudden (and overdue) outbreak of taste?
Theres only one Christmas number 1 in my household…
In a lot of ways “Wish you were here” is a pretty strong sentiment at Christmas.
It’s one of the greatest albums of all time and the recent reissue helped people discover it for the first time and rediscover it.
