      It’s one of those weird things right wing nutter defend pretend that their little 2 meter auto-turfed garden is going to be place people will have a right to roam on. Rather than the many many acres of land that was taken from the common people by the landed gentry/royals.

      But “right to roam” doesn’t mean “go where you like and do what you like”.

      It is restricted more than people think. Many places are off limits completely, and those that aren’t, you must follow the law at all times and the landowner has the right to ask you to leave. The police also have the right to simply remove you.
