Such a shame! We need to have more manufacturing and not less.
As long as they pay fair wages and look after the workers, there could be worse tbh
We need to start enforcing rules to protect employment in Switzerland.
For example: Swiss flag in your logo/branding. 90% of your workforce must be located in CH.
any form of support from the government or any advantage derived from being Swiss must come with an obligation to hire incountry
Otherwise it’s nothing but freeloading and we will bleed
So the corporate people will be paid Thai wages too ?
This was always gonna happen. Berninas have always been very expensive, but people paid for the quality. as cheaper brands get better, people aren‘t ready to spend even more on Berninas if they have to raise prices. our manufacturing sector needs rich American customers, the rest of the world simply doesn‘t buy enough Swiss products for our companies to survive.
