SADIK KUNIQI, THE FIRST ALBANIAN SERIAL KILLER

This was the first Albanian serial killer, he had a diary with the names he would execute

January 28, 2002 would shake the city of Shkodra. A married couple would be killed inside their home. Their execution would be done by the family friend, Sadik Kuniqi.

The latter went to visit your house and killed Isuf and Sadete Sula by surprise. He went even further, calling the couple’s daughters and threatening to execute them as well.

Two months later in March 2002 Kuniqi commits another murder. He went to Česk Simon’s house. There he found the latter’s wife together with his three-year-old son.

The rabbit severely injured his friend’s wife and later entered the little boy’s room and stabbed him with a trowel. Injured, Mira Simoni asked for help on the balcony of her house, but before running away, Sadik Kuniqi gave her the fatal blow. When he was leaving the crime scene, Kuniqi was identified by the neighbors.

In 2003 Kuniqi was sentenced by a court decision to life imprisonment. alone in his cell, the serial killer began to suffer from hallucinations and severe schizophrenia. He died in 2005 in the prison hospital after a problem with appendicitis
