      The judge also told Ogur, who is understood to have arrived in Britain on a small boat **weeks before the attack**: “Your continued stay in the United Kingdom will be for others to determine, not for me.”

      Quick observation:
      It requires significant adaptation/integration for people from different cultures to adapt to the West.
      Look at how DPRK defectors struggle to adapt to South Korea for instance.

      But we bring these people in, there’s no integration, and they they act violently… 

      My opinion is they shouldn’t be here in the first place…but, more importantly, I know research on integration precedes even German reunification so why are we making *no effort* to protect people if we know how to best help immigrants assimilate… it’s reckless from the government and endangers our citizens.

      I just can’t wrap my mind behind the thought process of people who do this.  Committing a rape while trying to claim asylum??  I also can’t wrap my head around why rape isn’t an instant end to a claim.

      I’d be very interested to know what percentage of all reported rape cases in the UK are committed by UK citizens compared to asylum seekers.

      It seems like every crime committed by an asylum seeker is reported on here at a disproportionate rate.

      It’s obviously a horrible crime and I’d like to think people actually care about victims and the women suffering the sexual violence equally. Not just when it’s committed by someone with fragile legal status.

      Right, left, up or down the fact that the uks current aproach to asylum seekers is to let them wander with remarkably little oversight or guidance is bonkers.

      All because people’s feelings would be hurt if they thought something being done was the wrong thing. Madness.
