Translating the lyrics to an obscure Norwegian song

“Little (vesle: childlike and affectionate connotation), big, human man, fold your hands now.
The sun is so pale and weak.
The daylight burns away.

The night swaddles the earth in it’s dark cloak. The stars that peek out are holes in the cloaks lining.

(I don’t understand the first word here. It doesn’t seem to make any sense to me, but based on context:)

Light a fire when the day dies, enigmatic flame.
Born of light behind the stars,
against despair and moaning.

The power of fire shall affect you.
Your heart is glowing.
Thawing all the loneliness and cold within yourself.

Light your gaze in the gloom of the night.
The sheen in your eye mirrors hope of what will happen from high above.

Behind the horizon, the light has already triumphed.
The pure sacrificial blood of the flame, tells of it’s splendor.

Little, big, human man, fold your hands now.

The sun is so pale and weak.
The daylight burns away.”
