As the friend whose dating life could be a TV show, I created a summary of my dating life in 2025.

For context, I'm 26F, East/Southeast Asian, located in Canada. I moved in 2024 and didn't really start going on dates until Feb 2025 (came from a conservative background). Since my first date, I kept a log that included the places, activities, time, and dates. I was dating someone from June to August and when we broke things off I took a pause from dating for the rest of the year and have only resumed again this month.

I thought about adding content from my exported Hinge data but the data was too all over the place to be interesting. I may do a second draft if I think of any more content to add lol.

This data lacks the understand of why the conversion rate is low vs the selection rate considering the sample size is 25 guys in 2025, an average of 2 new dates per month, but actually a higher monthly average considering there was a hiatus.

Education lacks correlation to second date

Industry lacks correlation to second date

This data is unfortunately just superficial and meaningless.

Data summary does not indicate if any one of the 25 dates moved to 3rd or 4th or 5th or if any are continuing to 2026, or if all were bust.

if all were bust throughout 2025 the data is meaningless without a conclusion as to why, theory as to source value correlation and a hypothetical approach to correction and improving the data result in the next year.

As someone who jumps back into the dating pool as of 2026 I think this looks very promising. Even if most of the interesting correlations are missing, I prefer this kind of data a lot over these “45M on Tinder experience”-flowgraphs.

Wish you the best for your 2026 dating

Thanks for sharing! Always love a cute aesthetic. Avg of 4.8 hours are some long dates. Are there outliers or did they all tend to go pretty long ?

  4. Obsessed with the idea of you starting a stopwatch to measure date duration (you probably just looked at the time it started and ended and did the math but I choose to believe you had a stopwatch)

  5. Because I’m old and ignorant, do you mind telling me what Eurasian ethnicity include? I want sure if that include everyone from Egypt to India.

    This is indeed beautiful.
    Thanks for sharing OP 🙂

Are you also into qualitative data ? Lol. To be converted into a TV show it would require that kind of data.

I would definitely would love watch such a show (or read the descriptive data).
