I am reporting a piece of news that in my opinion is going very unnoticed among our local newspapers, namely the devastation caused in recent days by Cyclone Harry in the Ionian coast and southern Sardinia. The situation is very serious, the resolution of the state of emergency is awaited and the damage already amounts to billions of euros. Fortunately there have been no victims so far. I invite you to take a tour of the internet where there are horrifying videos and images of collapsed streets and entire disaster-filled seafronts.

I was quite surprised by the little media coverage of the event, honestly, both TG5 and Rai1 dedicated a report lasting a few minutes, while the main national newspapers did not report the news even in a small section of the front page. We are talking about a tragedy that risks bringing local economies that survive thanks to the summer season to their knees, and which, given the proportions of damage caused, may not arrive this year.

  1. Avete avuto anche voi questa sensazione di poca importanza data alla notizia o è semplicemente una mia impressione?

  2. Non per dire male ma alcune case sembravano leggermente abusive. Però per tutti gli altri mi dispiace
