    1. Don’t bother reading, article uses weasel words. Just drop it to your favorites folder so you have it on hand as a reply to someone being dishonest asking “why do the agents wear masks”.

Seem to be a lot of people suddenly very supportive of fascist thugs that kidnap people in these comments

Yaay, we can’t enforce our own borders and immigrations laws so let’s make sure the Americans can’t either!

    4. Europe needs some border patrols on the Southern coast.

Edit: Lol.. Reddit insights show that the vast majority of views are from US… Therefore the downvotes… Triggered
      Still EU needs security.

Lot of people drinking the Kool Aid in this thread.  Ignorance and echo chambers are a scary combination.

It would be an absolute shame if someone figured out where all their spouses work so Americans could vocally boycott those companies.

      An absolute shame.

What was it that absolute cunt had on her podium?

Oh yea, “One of Ours, All of Yours.”

    7. >Skinner told the Irish Times he uses tools such as AI to verify the information he’s given before publishing it. Among the personal information he posts to his website are photos of the CE agents, as well as addresses and phone numbers.

      >“This morning, I had someone who works at a Starbucks where ICE agents were getting coffee. They told me the names that were written on the cups,” he told the Irish Times.

Yeah, nothing can go wrong there… reddit “catching” the Boston Bomber 2.0 in the making, the guy just seems like an idiot. There are plenty of sensible ways to protest ICE, but this is not it.

    8. A sub that constantly posts about wanting the US out of Europe continues to obsessed with what the US does inside its own borders.

It’s one thing to be critical of certain tactics the current administration uses, but some seem to be of the opinion that the US doesn’t have a right to control its own borders or who can legally be in the country.

    9. Time to move to the fediverse or p.feddit.org to escape some of these bots. Although I am certain there is a sizable number of bots on there, too, but probably less so. The proposed European social media platform W might be interesting, too but I haven’t looked into its details yet.

Haven’t been here for a while. I’d forgotten about the sheer volume of racism endemic on this sub.

    11. Goddamn the bots and bootlickers are active on this post. This kind of moral courage is an example to us all.

I love the Irish. You people have been giving opressive regimes a hard time for over 400 years.
The songs you write about it are bangers too.

In all for fascists being made to fear but I’d this guy is on the side of good he’s inevitably going to make mistakes and misidentify people. And if harm comes to them it will seem reckless.

But maybe that’s where we are. I’m not sure I’d have the confidence to announce ice agents for fear of getting it wrong. And for fear of what others might do to them before any official justice arrives.

    14. “speculation suggests the culprits were of Russian origin”

As in “don’t disturb the Russia-influenced destruction of USA”?
