Alexander Zibzibadze: “We did this study in 2023 and we looked at Georgia’s economic growth and its inclusivity and at that time you find out that only 13% of Georgian population’s standard of living actually improved… it was extremely non- inclusive.”

Yeah, 13% of Georgian population and a lot more foreigners, they get to enjoy the economic growth, too.
Nothing will change if people keep slaving away for 600 GEL a month jobs by their own will.
There are remote work opportunities that pay better than average local slavemarket jobs and people should use them. Because local lawyers, nurses and doctors spend years of effort into jobs that dont pay shit. If only this talent, time and intelligence was directed towards more productive jobs.
And yes, I do mean everyone should stop being nurses and consultants, and instead become a programmer, project manager, UI designer, tester, analytics, marketing, and so on in digital side. People have wrong idea that these jobs require any particular talent to get into, but it’s wrong. 99% of these jobs is re-using existing things and just communicating with people that’s it. Learn English, Russian, whatever other big language, learn to use computers and internet, stop slaving away your lives. Worldwide digital market is huge and even if you employ whole Georgia in it it will satisfy maybe 0.1% of ever-growing demand.
I know this guy from Triviador. Random I know.
