Can you write a song for the drivers who don’t want to wear out their brake pads at those inconvenient T-intersections?

Best PSA ever.
At certain corners, those same sensors are just past the line. This is on right hand turns, you can advance a bit forwards in preparation to turn. By doing so, you will actually allow more cars to go through the light, and from my observations, actually allow the light to go green a bit faster (though I don’t know if it’s actually doing it faster, or if it’s psychosomatic).

I remember ages ago, first time I ever did this, but I was waiting to turn right onto the motorway and we didn’t get an arrow for around 3 goes. I knew what it was, the car at the front was not far enough forward, so I, and I hated doing this but didn’t want to wait forever, got out of my car, walked forward 3 cars and told the woman that she was not far enough forward, went back into my car and 30 seconds later we were off.
I just could not believe she did not know why the lights were not going green for us, and after the third time we did not get an arrow why she didn’t realise it might be her causing it.

oh that explained it, I thought I knew how light pattern work. I usually have a right turn into my workplace, most of the time when turning green it give right turn light first before letting the opposite lane go, however when I came just a little slower to when light turn green as the first car in the turn lane, it didn’t give priority.
I thought it use camera but the one that I can see didn’t pointed at my lane, bugging my mind ever since

Not all, but there’s a few that refuse to change when I’m on my motorbike.

I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve had to get out of my car, walk up to the clown in the first car in the queue, and tell them to move forward one car length!

IKEA Tempe exit sensors just ignore my motorcycle.
Been sitting there too many times for multiple cycles without it ever giving me a green.

T Junction opposite silverwater prison, every now and then you get a muppet turning right from the left lane. Which only triggers a left arrow. 3 cycles and they still don’t get it. Would they expect someone in the right lane to turn left in front of them?

That’s fucking gold.

Lobby the state government. This should be a tax payer funded public service announcement.

Needs to also talk about people in turning lanes that are going straight. It’s aggravating sitting behind those drivers while the green arrow just stares at you

Why on earth have so many people started stopping SO FAR BACK from the line?
People did not used to do this. Is it contagion from larger cars whose drivers cannot properly tell where the front of their car is?
Something to do with how people are being taught?
I just don’t get it – it seems like this behaviour really ramped up in recent years.
