It's been noted that in other parts of society that color is disappearing. That doesn't seem to be the case in the music world, althought colors are less bright. I did a longer write-up here.

Is there any way of explaining the trends? Why were some colours more popular in some decades?
I like this a lot, but it really leaves my wanting more. Would love it if more hues were considered (no pink, no brown?) but also it would be fascinating to look at saturation and lightness too.
Is the explicit content warning being included in this color distribution?
