Actually pretty lucky to nab this shot. The prevailing wind is reversed to what it usually is so instead of doing North to South takeoffs they’re doing South to North. Always cool when they do it and you catch an A380 going over the inner-west. Those things just look so damn slow on take-off and landing, so it looks like a giant white tube very gently floating up into the sky.

With corporate greed, they’re doing everything they can to save a penny. Unfortunate that the passengers have to endure g forces of 20g+ with a 50% survival rate but that’s the risk

this is the stuff I have weird dreams about, catapulted airliners, slow crashes, planes cruising a few hundred metres above ground level through mountains… need to stop watching aviation stuff on Youtube
