– “The plant will still be on display between 10am to 2pm on Sunday but the garden says the flower will start to wilt and have no smell left.”
It’s a shame that the flower only lasts approximately 48 hours. And it looses its smell so quickly too. But it could still make for an enjoyable trip to the Botanic Garden very late tonight, Saturday until midnight, or on Sunday during mid-day for those 4 hours that viewing is available. It could still be quite interesting to visit such a famous flower even as it is fading and wilting.
This is those times technology fails us.
It can replicate sight, it can replicate hearing but I want to be able to smell that flower through my phone
Such an Adelaide smell given its history
Smellanie is such a great name haha
