It’s a pretty high tide today, so it’s a great day for a swim.
Cafe generally closes at 3pm, but the “beach bar” should be open until 8:30 tonight. The pizzas are not too bad.
The curlews will start coming out when it starts to cool down a little, though if you walk the residential streets, you’ll probably see a few (including chicks) in the shade.
Plenty of butterflies in the wetlands walk at the moment. Keep an eye out for eastern bearded dragons around the foreshore.
The barge runs until mid/late afternoon. If you find the ferry too crowded, walk-on passengers are the same price as the ferry. Ferry runs until late (10ish, check web site for exact times).
