I’ve had several close calls with wombats, roos and wallabies at near dusk mtbing. They all love the run alongside you then suddenly cut across in front of you.

Kangaroo should stay off the road! The road is for bikes! That kangaroo should have registration and insurance to be on the road! There’s perfectly good bushland right next to the road but the kangaroo chooses to hop on the road!

The kangaroo heard its mates up at Bathurst get famous off this stuff and decided it wanted a go too.
Less flippantly I hope no-one got seriously hurt. One of the chaps down looked like he was holding his wrist.
