Had a massive white flash right before the heavy rain and made me and my partner jump the second the thunder rumbled like 1 second later. Inner northern brisbane. Wondering if something was struck

I watered the lawn for two hours this arvo, and then that storm hit. Fuck me – so annoying. Very little warning and all forecasts were way off.

There was a severe storm warning. I was watching it. The BOM warning triggered a text from my insurer.
The storm passed some areas and then it weakened, as they often do.
So then the severe storm warning was cancelled as it was no longer a severe storm for where it was heading.
How is this hard?
Did the cancellation of the severe storm warning mean your experience of the storm beforehand was cancelled to? No it wasn’t.
