“I’ve been visiting emergency clinics and pharmacies multiple times over the course of several days, I must be sick. Welp, better wanderlust my ass all over Sydney!”

None of them are near me, but argh it’s frustrating when there are perfectly good vaccines that people could take and I have a baby who’s too young to vaccinate.

I see Mosman has a heavy mention. It’s one of the lowest rates of immunised kids in Sydney. Parents too busy to get their kids vaccinated apparently.

Ugh. I’ve been vaccinated multiple times and I’ve had measles (it really, really sucks) because I’m one of those unlucky people for whom the vaccination just won’t take. My kids are fully vaccinated regardless. I’m gonna end up with it again from some unvaccinated child at the shops, aren’t I?

how on earth did they manage to visit every other emergency and urgent care in the city for a month and not get picked up earlier

There was a fascinating post about infection rates the other day related to the bat virus.
Covid was bad as it was around 1 (?) and measles is like 14 to 20 (?). Anyway…. It’s a lot more contagious than covid ever was.
