  1. I know I will get some downvotes form people who think its not realistic or fake news. But Australia just installed 200 000 home batteries in just 6 months. The money spend on it is like 7 billion Dollar. This alone will flatten out price spikes a lot. Together with increased solar, this can bring you over night or cover demand peaks. Battery prices are in free fall. This will even kill any project for “peaker gas plants” that make their money on expensive peaks in demand. The market is changing at a very fast pace right now.

    And as a side note, no private company will invest in nuclear in Switzerland unless the government is covering the risk. And its already clear that it won’t be “cheap nuclear energy”, either way.

    We don’t produce uranium, I don’t know how I feel about being reliant on a foreign country for power. We have a lot of storage with hydro, so renewables is cheaper, faster to build, etc.
