I wish I had this amount of self-control but I really like having four beers. Having four beers is great.

OP, looks like you’ve healed a lot. I started regularly tracking mid 2023, and I really think I need to do a graph like this.

Nice work, I’ve tracked mine for 2025, just need to pop it on a sheet like you did. I’ve got your 2026 one, I’ll have to make a 2025 from that to pop my numbers on.
Nothing to track this year so far, first successful dry January attempt. No drinking problem or anything, just always some event that helps me not get there, I think tracking my consumption just helps you be more in touch with what you are actually doing , rather than your perception of how it’s going…

4+ to blackout is a wild jump

It looks like blackout may be soon after 5? I don’t see any numbers like 7 or 9. Or it could be that’s about when the brakes fail.

Nice. I hope you had your drink on Christmas and realized you were at 68 drinks for the year and made a conscious choice to have just one more drink for the rest of 2025 for fake internet points reasons!

What are you considering a drink? a unit, pint or something else? I dont think i’ve ever in my life seen someone just have one drink, unless its at a restaurant. I am from Scotland though where we have quite a strong binge drinking culture.

Nice! And here I am, aiming to reduce to 2 per workday max…

My rule was always to give up drinking for any month containing “J”, “U” and “Y”.

American? I can’t imagine doing that in the UK. I try to drink as little as possible, and I still end up drinking at least twice a week.

Thanks for the template looking forward to tracking

It’s always nice to see actual healthy drinking demonstrated, compared to what I told myself was healthy drinking before I quit.

out of curiosity, you don’t drink for Christmas or new year’s eve?

Did you input the data while drunk on drinking days?

This kinda looks like mine.

This is good stuff. I want to start documenting my drinking too. This month will be easy to record because I’m doing dry January.

at only plus 4 my whole calendar would be blacked out lol (not proud of that, but still)

Blackout on the Final week of April 2024 kinda came out of nowhere huh
Original content, created by myself in Google Sheets.
April 25th was a real motherfucker, eh?
You counted blackout days as zero? Wouldn’t it be better to use an estimate of at least 6 or so for those days in the monthly and yearly tallies?
Memorial Day 2024 looked like a fun weekend.
So apperently you blackout once a year do you allready know when you wanna do this years?
You didn’t count drinks for the blackout days in your monthly and yearly totals.
Very healthy imo. I’m usually 6-10 days no alcohol then 10+ on a Saturday but I can handle my drink
Out of curiosity, what counts as ‘a drink’? A beer, a bottle of wine, a double of spirits, or some other unit of measure?
What interest you most about your data? Just curious why you tracked this and what you hoped to get out of it.
