Last year, I noticed ads for a certain festival on Facebook. The festival was supposed to be about plants, and the entire event fanpage, from the poster to the posts on the event website, was filled with AI-generated graphics. The whole thing takes place in a certain city in the western part of Poland. I scrolled through, there was so much on the topic, nothing interesting, but after the event there was a flood of articles about disappointed people who spent money on a huge festival full of beautiful plant exhibitions, but saw exhibitions straight from the garden section in Castorama. The man sneered a bit, it was a bit like the famous one Willy’s Chocolate Experience w Glasgowbut it happens, I turned off the article.
A few months ago, I started seeing advertisements about a new festival, this time of balloons, in a different part of Poland than the previous one. A quite similar poster, also filled with AI – something tempted me to compare the organizers of the festival with balloons with the organizers of the festival with plants. By some strange coincidence, both festivals are organized by somewhat unknown companies, coincidentally registered at the same address. Remembering the plant scam, I went to the event website and tried searching out of curiosity to see if they had ANY photos of actual balloon displays. Instead, I was bombarded with AI-generated photos of large exhibitions made of balloons the size of Jesus from Świebodzin. This time, however, the company got smart and inserted a disclaimer about the AI used in the post, but at the bottom of the post so that the content would have to be expanded. In the comments, delight of average Kowalskis and Nowaks, questions about tickets and tagging family members, the neighbor’s brother-in-law’s dogs and other people asking about going together. Over 60,000 people clicked on the event saying they were interested in the festival, and apart from spam ads on FB, the festival also advertises on radio, promising miracles on a stick.
Well, I have a strange feeling that there will be even more articles after this balloon miracle than after garden exhibition with Leroy Merlin plant festival. I absolutely don’t want to wish bad luck to those who bought tickets, but I can’t help but feel that I will hear a huge bang of ass tomorrow, because I live near the upcoming festival ( ͡° ʖ̯ ͡°)

Jak się ludzie nie nauczą researchować na co idą i AI odróżniać od prawdziwych zdjęć, to będą dalej rozczarowania, a oszuści będą się bogacić na poziomie easy.
Boycott firm ktore AI używają to jedyne co realnie możemy robić, żeby nie zaczęło tak się dziać wszędzie (a daleko od tego nie jesteśmy).
Tak teraz myślę, może takie “festiwale” mają marketing wypełniony oczywistym AI tak samo, jak scamowe emaile mają literówki i inne błędy? Taki filtr na osoby które będą w stanie to łyknąć, idk
Szybkie wyszukanie w googlu i chyba znalazłem festiwal z balonami, o którym mówisz. “Zdjęcia” bardziej jak kadry z bajki animowanej, ewidentnie AI, ale niestety pewnie wiele ludzi nie zauważy. Na samym dole jest info, że część materiałów “mogła” (XD) zostać wygenerowana. Z resztą cała ta strona wygląda jak wygenerowana w AI, szczególnie patetyczne cytaty organizatorów. No cóż, umiejętność rozpoznawania treści AI powinna być w dzisiejszych czasach obowiązkowa, żeby nie dać się łatwo oscamować póki jesteśmy w stanie jeszcze to rozpoznać.
Ale opis na stronie zewnętrznej z biletami nie wspomina o SI:
> Wszelkie zaprezentowane grafiki wydarzenia mają charakter poglądowy – każda [tu nazwa] jest wyjątkowa i może różnić się od zaprezentowanych obrazów, oferując zawsze jedyne w swoim rodzaju doświadczenie.
Zdecydowanie wygląda jakby zapowiadała się niezła klapa. Już jutro się dowiemy
