I know people in northern Europe may laugh at me about this, but it’s been the coldest winter in the last decade in Spain. Malaga reached a min temp of 3 degrees C which is uncommon for our subtropical climate, the historical lowest min temp is 1C.

It’s even colder than normal over here across the pond near Atlanta. It’s currently -4 when we are usually around 1 or 2 for over night temps. Tomorrow it will be super cold: -2 for a high, over -9 for a low. That’s super cold for us. We even have a chance for some snow.

The UK skipped winter this year, I assume Ireland is the same. At least in the bit of the West Midlands I live we got 1 day of frost than melted by lunch time, and the rest of winter so far has beem brisk and overcast.

It’s been mega grey in the UK. We have had several storms within a month . Horrible. It hasn’t been very cold but it’s been very very overcast. The worst type of weather tbh.

This winter is the first normal winter in Croatia in the last decade.
We even had snow in Zagreb, and went snow sliding with the kids. That fucking sled I bought is finally being used 😉

Today in Helsinki was a beautiful sunny windless day, I left the office a bit early and went on a walk on the sea. It was soooo nice.
Portugal has just been hit with it’s largest storm ever on record, hundreds of thousands with no water, electricity or comms, and there’s another one incoming this weekend. This isn’t winter, this is climate change.

The average temp on the 4/1 was 6,5 C PLUS… above freezing. It’s colder in Denmark than in Greenland. Talk about weird facts…
