Man I’m still waiting for mine to come back. Taking forever.

Was this a thing where you send a space agency a selfie, and then they take a picture of your selfie from space?

This was a service offered by Mark Rober. You needed to upload a photo then a satellite he launched would take a photo of a screen with the photo you sent.
Mark Rober is also a mormon. Mormons believe black people are black because they were corrupted by God for betraying jesus

Time to hold up a sign that says, “they are behind me aren’t they?”

Hey I’ve got one too! I sent one of my spouse and I up and I use it as my phone background. Super neat.

I did this some years ago, but through [spaceweather.com](https://www.spaceweather.com/). Which definitely does not go into space, but you get a cool photo w the curvature of the earth *and* supports high school science experiments, so win!
Sounds like it happened a helluva lot faster too than yours, I got mine back in like a day or two after the launch.
