Hello.
I’m Brazilian and interested in Polish culture. I first heard this song (Po partyzancie dziewczyna płacze) in a documentary about WWII. It shows a family celebrating an engagement, and then the old men gather and sing it. Both old men have lived through the war. More people join them as they sing it.
So I wonder how common this song is in Poland. I’m most interested in in among the older generations, but youngsters also welcome.

Quite common. Still played out around the time of national holidays. You can check out polish street band “Ferajna z Hoovera” they usually sing patriotic songs. Most likely they have performed it too.
Not gonna lie but this is the first time I’ve ever heard of this song
It can depend on a region. I haven’t heard about it.
Czy tylko ja jestem tak spaczony, że po tytule myślałem, że chłop jej wywalił z partyzanta i dziwi się, że laska płacze? xD
More important question: As Brazilian, did you heard about Kurytyba (Curitiba)? And Polish diaspora here?
I’ve lived here for almost 40 years, never heard of it before.
I’ve heard it before but only because in my teens I had a huge phase of listening to patriotic songs. I don’t know about Poland as a whole but in my region (northern Poland) it wasn’t popular at all
