Wild that the top selling new cars in 3 states are EVs. We’ve come a long way in the last couple years.

You can almost see the red-state/blue-state divide in this map.

America don’t need anything from Canada, except some of the most popular vehicles in the country: Toyota RAV4, Honda CRV, the Chevrolet Silverado and many parts of the F150.🤪

It seems disingenuous to consider “Ford F-Series” as one vehicle, like a RAV4.
The Ford F-Series comes in huge number of configurations, sizes, and price points. The smallest/cheapest model is the regular cab with short bed, only 4000lbs, 209 inches, 2×4 drivetrain, 2.7L economy engine, for ~$35k. The largest/most expensive models is probably the F450 Platinum Plus, 8,600lbs, 266 inches, 4×4, 6.7L diesel, for ~$130k. These are not one car.

Graphic is fun, but the legend is a bit strange:
– I guess the list of cars is alphabetical, putting Chevy Equinox at the top. I would argue listing based either by most popular in the entire country or by #1 in the most states
– Why is the Toyota Tacoma in the legend? It appears to not be #1 in any state and the only states/territory it is even in the top 5 is WA, OR, NV, PR (based on my random checking, I could have missed some)
– I am impressed with Subaru’s performance. Toyota, Ford, Chevy dominating most state’s top 5 makes sense as some of the largest automakers in the USA/world. But clicking around, Subaru Crosstrek and Forester appears in the top 5 quite often

61% of registrations as SUV’s is just crazy work

Crazy that there are enough Nazis in CA to keep 2 Teslas in the top 5

Was REAAAAALLY hoping colorado was going to be a Subaru. I can settle for it being #4 in that state…

I find it fascinating that if you drill down, an EV is in the top-5 for many states. UT has the Model Y at #2 and CO at #3, for example.

Pretty funny that a Subaru only show up one time and it’s exactly the state you’d guess

MI highest seller isn’t a ford.

Why are any of the west coast people buying Teslas in 2025?

Hey look, Trucks
I dislike people that drive trucks. Commuting to your office job? Jump into your F 450 that is the size of a school bus. tail gate those in front of you thinking your going to make the person in front go faster when they are in fact keeping up with the flow of traffic. In fact, you can see over the car in front as see this, but your ego because Dur I drIVE a TRucK and own the road.
We need to get back to driving smaller vehicles. Most people that own trucks dont need them.
