Originally, I believed it was in Russian (because it was with Russian documents) but then I was told it’s Polish. Then I was told it’s Latin– by a Polish speaker. Now I’m being told again that it’s Polish. I’m so lost.
If someone could please tell me what language it’s in and help me with a translation, I’d be very appreciative.

It’s in Polish. The cursive is just on this side of readable. It’s a death certificate for Józefa Barlmańska from 1940.
It’s surely polish but it has very specific handwriting. Sorry for so many edits, but I wrote this on my phone while commuting to work. Below is also an English translation.

Stawili się: Tomasz Flasiński z Rozalina i Marian Tejzer z Leśniczówki, obaj pełnoletni rolnicy oświadczyli nam, że dnia dziesiątego maja roku bieżącego, o godzinie dwudziestej trzeciej, umarła w Leśniówce Józefa Bartmańska, panna lat pięćdziesiąt trzy mająca rolniczka urodzona w Zakrzówku, parafii tejże, zamieszkała w Leśniczówce, córka Stanisława i Marianny z Ardelewskich małżonków Bartmańskich
Po naocznym przekonaniu się o zejściu Józefy Bartmańskiej akt ten stawającym świadkom przeczytany, przez Nas i przez nich podpisany został.
Flasiński Tomasz Tejzer Marian
It happened in Opole on May 13, 1940, at 4 p.m. Present were: Tomasz Flasiński from Rozalin and Marian Tejzer from Leśniczówka, both adult farmers, who declared to us that on May 10 of current year, at 11 p.m., Józefa Bartmańska, a 53-year-old unmarried farmer born in Zakrzówek, parish of the same name, residing in Leśniczówka, daughter of Stanisław and Marianna née Ardelewska, spouses Bartmański, died in Leśniczówka.
After confirming the death of Józefa Bartmańska with our own eyes, this document was read to the witnesses present, signed by us and by them.
As the other person posted, it is in Polish and regarding a death but I think its more of a letter attesting to the death than an official death certificate. I’ll do my best with some of the translation, the old style cursive makes it hard.
Note: I don’t have the Polish alphabet on my device so I’ll be missing diacritic markings and this attempt is a somewhat loose translation; what I’m unable to translate will have a ? mark
On the left by the number is Lesniczowka, which appears to be a town (perhaps Lublin Voidevodship?) and the name Jozefa Barlmanska.
On top it looks like a name I cant make out and another name of Krzyzanowska Stefanja (last name written first).
Main part: It has happened in ? on the 13th day of May, year 1940, at 1600 hr. Standing in (showing up/attesting?) are Tomasz Stasinski from Rozalin and Marian Fajer from Lesniczowka, both adult farmers, and witnessing that on May 10th, current year, at 2300 hr, Jozefa Barlmanska died in Lesniczowka, a single woman of 53 years of age, a farmer born in Zakrzowek, parish ?, residing in Lesniczowka, daughter of Stanislaw and Marianna of the Ardelewski (?) family, married as the Barlmanskis. After realization (?) of the passing of Jozefa Barlmanska, this act (notice) was read and signed by us and them witnesses.
I can’t make out the last word.
The bottom are the signatures of Tomasz Stasinski and Marian Fajer ( last names first)
