The demographic collapse in Italy is not a coincidence, but a direct consequence of salaries that no longer allow us to dream of a future: if a young person struggles to make ends meet, it is obvious that he will not start a family or that he will flee abroad. The data speaks clearly: while company profits are at an all-time high, exceeding 46%, the share allocated to wages has sunk to a minimum of 39% of GDP. They often tell us that we earn little because we are not very productive, but it’s a fairy tale: we are statistically more efficient than giants like Japan or Korea, only that that wealth is absorbed by crazy bills, skyrocketing rents and company margins that are not redistributed. The case of banks is the most absurd example: they make billions in profits by taking advantage of the ECB’s favorable rates without paying almost anything to those who have the money in the account. We are not in a production crisis, but a distribution crisis. If we really want to see full cots again, we need to stop just protecting profits and start seriously putting money back into workers’ paychecks.

qualcuno avverta la meloni…….da quando governa i salari sono calati ulteriolmente, personalmente dubito sia un caso
Non è solo questione di stipendio ma di stabilità.
Prendi i nostri genitori e nonni, loro guadagnavano pochissimo, ed intendo VERAMENTE poco.
Nonostante questo però sono riusciti a costruirsi una vita. Perché?
Semplice: perché per trovare lavoro non devi trasferirti a 1000km di distanza per farti 6 medi di stage e sperare che non sia il classico parassita intenzionato a sfancularti per andare sul prossimo.
Alle nuove generazioni hanno propinato la favola del “se accetti un po’ di precariato avrai stipendio più alto”. Ma a conti fatti non è assolutamente vero, usano il precariato per sostituirti con chi è disposto a guadagnare meno. Fanno dumping salariale e ti ritrovi a 35 anni che ancora non sei economicamente stabile, lontano 1000km dalla tua famiglia, senza supporto, affetti, a doverti rifare una vita nuova ogni 6 mesi…e con la pressione sociale del “non fanno figli”
