Who are the crew for? Is it a news outlet or like a doco team?
I just drove past. Seems like a setup for a media opportunity. I hadn’t seen any flowers or cards there for ages until today. Not hatin’, I just find orchestrated sentiment a little “icky”. Dudes a legend though.

I think it’s been very watered down his reception thanks to media and news coverage. He’s a legend, very brave man, but the fascination on him being painted as this saviour is killing his reputation imo and the overdoing of coverage is very orchestrated
The dude’s been lapping it up around the world. I don’t really care because it’s not hurting anybody, I just find it funny how little humility he’s had through the whole thing when most people would want to stay out of the spotlight. He even used #hero on his own post in the US 😅
I know he did something brave, but all this performative shit for cameras that keeps happening with him is weird.

What tipped you off? Was it the hi-vis or the camera crew (and probably assorted news vans rolling in once they heard that another network had set this up)?
