I’ve just been to Ljubljana, and stayed at the Eurostars Grand Hotel Union. If you turn right from the reception, there’s a hall with framed autographs of the hotel’s previous famous guests. One of these were from the infamous former Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
I don’t really think it belongs there. I’ve told my concerns to one of the employees, but maybe due to the language barrier or the fact that they probably don’t follow the news or have no idea who the person is, nothing happened.
Somehow it made my guest experience a little bit strange. I’ve kept thinking about, if I am staying at the same room as him, and if he could have had underage females with him in the same hotel room.
Anyway if someone from this forum can tell them to remove it, that would be great. I think no hotel should be proud about the fact that Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor has stayed there.
Am I overreacing? Or it shall stay there as a historic memento? I don’t really know.

It’s unfortunate and gross (edit: and I agree they should remove it!) but I’m willing to bet they had no idea what you were talking about. The concern about him having underage girls in the room seems like a bit much though tbh – that would have been pretty brazen on what was probably some form of state visit
They should probably remove that, yes.
But at the same time, you’re definitely overreacting. Why would someone staying at the same hotel as you almost two decades ago change your experience in any way?
If you follow that logic, you could get offended every day because some bad person once drove on the same street as you.
I guarantee you the employees don’t even know who that guy is neither average Slovenian, so chill out and enjoy xD
The whole building should be torn down, just in case.
What is the problem here?
The man who used to be prince
Someone should write directly to the King, to request removal through diplomatic channels to preserve the honor of the monarchy.
“By apppontment of his Majesty himself…”.
Kidding. Yes, it should definitely be removed. Sad that managment wasn’t able to notice it and act on it.
Your problems are not our problems. Remember that… world doesnt spin around UK and USA
If it were Trump’s signature, you’d have every of our right wingers taking photos of themselves standing next to it.
And for the record, it’s official that Trumps name in the Epstein files is mentioned more times than Jesus in the Bible.
